Sameh Toma, MD, FACOG is one of the most well known surgeons in the Raleigh/Durham area. He graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor Degree in Science in Electrical Engineering. He then graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill School of Medicine and completed his residency there as well. During his residency, he conducted significant research and published several articles regarding infertility, endometriosis and fetal wellbeing.

His most significant training came under the late Dr. Luther Talbert, Fellowship Director for Reproductive Endocrinology at UNC-Chapel Hill. Dr. Talbert then left UNC-Chapel Hill to open the North Carolina Center for Reproductive Medicine and asked Dr. Toma to join him in this private practice. Together, they created the most prolific and successful fertility clinic in the region. Dr. Toma also has used his engineering and medical expertise to develop color ultrasound. He also designed the state-of-the-art laboratory at NCCRM. It’s similar to a micro-elect clean room providing the cleanest air environment for embryology. This is a major reason for the high pregnancy success rates enjoyed at the facility. Dr. Toma is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. His interests include in-vitro fertilization and advanced reproductive surgery, microsurgical tubal anastomosis, complex gynecologic surgeries and cosmetic procedures.


Paul E. Enochs, MD, FACS, FASMBS started the Triangle’s first and only private weight loss surgery center nearly a decade ago. He has performed Raleigh’s first gastric bypass and LAP-BAND® System procedure and to date has done more bariatric procedures in the Triangle area than any other bariatric surgeon. He is also the only local surgeon to perform the Single Incision Lap Band procedure (SILS). Dr. Enochs is presently the Medical Director for Bariatrics at Wake Med Cary Hospital and formerly at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.

Dr. Enochs received his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College Of Medicine. He completed his surgery residency at the University of South Alabama Medical Center where his primary focus and specialization was advanced laparoscopy and bariatric surgery. He received additional fellowship training in bariatric surgery and advanced laparoscopy at the University of California – San Francisco, the Carolinas Medical Center, the Medical College of Virginia, and the Duke University Medical Center. He resides in Raleigh with his wife and two beautiful kids.


Bo Hanna, MD is a double board-certified surgeon in both general and plastic surgery. His medical knowledge, compassion and experience have allowed him to build a solid local reputation over the last 20 years of superior medical services in the region.

Dr. Hanna understands that surgical procedures are a sensitive area. That is why he gives each of our patients the time and individual attention they need, so that they are as comfortable as possible with their procedures. Surgical procedures are performed at Carolina Women’s Aesthetic Surgery’s state-of-the-art facility. Dr. Hanna is responsible for each stage of treatment, from initial consultation throughout the procedure and post-procedure care.

Dr. Hanna received his medical degree from Wayne State University and completed his residency at Duke University Medical Center. He received additional fellowship training at the University of Louisville.


Gerald Mulvaney, MD, FACOG graduated from the Boston University School of Medicine in 1978. He completed his residency in Brooklyn, New York at King’s County Downstate Medical Center in 1982. He then moved to Goldsboro and opened a private practice.

In 1985, he joined the faculty of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and was assigned to the AHEC/Wake Medical Center. He pioneered laser and operative laparoscopy in the Raleigh area and also has special training in pediatric gynecology. Dr. Mulvaney’s research interest is in perfecting infertility techniques, including assisted reproductive technologies and in vitro fertilization as well as reproductive surgical procedures such as tubal anastomosis. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been named as one of the “Best Doctors in the Triangle” by Healthy Living Magazine. When you ask patients in the Raleigh area who their favorite fertility doctor is, Dr. Mulvaney is always one of the top names on their list.


Elena Prude was born and raised in Russia and moved to the United States in 2004. She is married and has two beautiful children. She has always been passionate about skin care and loves to make people feel good about themselves. Elena graduated from Miller-Motte College in 2009 with an Esthetics Technology Certificate where she studied professional development, bacteriology, sanitation and disinfection, skin structure, diseases and disorders, facials, aromatherapy, body treatments, microdermabrasion, various phases of Esthetics technology, business/computer principles, product knowledge, and other selected topics. As a licensed esthetician, Elena qualified to sit for the North Carolina State Board licensing examination.
